Why the Most Powerful Part of Your Day Is the Moment You Usually Rush Past?
I want to start with something simple.
Not a product.
Not a routine.
Not a rule.
I want to start my day with a moment.
And it is the one most women overlook every single day.
You’re standing in front of the mirror.
Applying your skincare.
Your makeup.
Getting ready to face the world.
And without even realising it…
You’re already in conversation with yourself.

This Is Where Everything Begins
For years, I noticed something in myself and in the women I work with.
We don’t just “get ready”…
We evaluate, judge and critique
Too tired – Too lined – Too something.
And that tone — that internal dialogue —
You know, the one that sets the energy for everything that follows.
So I started to shift it and blend things together.
Not by adding more time.
Not by creating complicated rituals.
But by changing my mornings, starting with what happens in the mirror.

The Mirror Time Method: Makeup Your Face, Makeup Your Mind

While I apply my skincare or makeup, I practise:
3 things I’m grateful for
3 things I like about myself
That’s it. This is the foundation of my work. And it’s beauty-fuelled and oh, so simple.
No pressure.
No perfection.
Just repetition.
Because what you practise in the mirror…
becomes what you believe about yourself.
It’s a method I’ve built through years of working in beauty, teaching communication, confidence, and understanding how women really feel in midlife. And how it’s a time for newness and debunking old beliefs and making new priorities that aid our life journeys
We’ve been taught to separate things:
Beauty over here. Mindset over there. But in reality they work together.
When you touch your face, apply your skincare and your makeup, and at the same time anchor positive thought,
you start to create something incredibly powerful:
A beauty-fuelled mind
Before the Noise you must choose You. The key to this method is timing. It happens before the day gets in, before the notifications, and opinions. And before the subtle pressure to be something for everyone else.
That moment in the mirror?
That’s yours.
And when you use it intentionally, you begin the day from connection instead of reaction.

Midlife Isn’t About Slowing Down, It’s About Refining
I work with women who aren’t trying to become someone else. They’re trying to come back to themselves but with more clarity, more calm and more confidence.
And what I’ve learned is this:
You don’t need more products.
More steps.
More noise.
What you need is alignment. You need something that fits into your life, not on top of it. This shift can’t happen overnight and it isn’t dramatic. But with steady work you will start to feel:
• More grounded
• Less critical
• More like yourself again
• More present in your own life
And that presence? That’s the real glow.
From Meh… to Yeah: Your Presence Is Your Power
“What You Practice In The Mirror Shapes How You Show Up In The World.”
— Mala · VMM

We talk a lot about ageing, but not nearly enough about presence.
The way you hold yourself.
Speak.
Enter a room.
Look at yourself.
That energy doesn’t can never come from a product. It comes from you and it comes with practice.
And the mirror is where that practice begins. And the bespoke mirror time method is created for your individual self and the needs you have. The power is in you, and I just help you to unlock what you crave….. Self-worth and a whole lot of acceptance.
You’re already standing there.
You’re already applying your skincare.
Your makeup.
Your SPF.
Taking time to look inside while you make up your face simply changes the quality of that moment from automatic… to intentional.
From surface… to self.
Remember: Ageing Is a Gift… And Presence Is Your Present
This stage of life does not need to be about fading. It’s can instead be about becoming more of who you are, with awareness, with choice, with intention.
And when you start your day connected to yourself you carry that into everything.
Start Tomorrow Morning
There’s nothing new to buy and nothing new to learn.
Just pause.
Look at yourself, really look beyond the surface.
And begin with:
The three things you’re grateful for and the three things you like about you
And see how your day shifts.
