How the 3D Aesthetics works
Leading skin expert and TV presenter Dr Raj Arora helped launch this all-new non-surgical skin-tightening solution in collaboration with maker 3D Aesthetics.

The 3D technology uses advanced radiofrequency to tighten, firm, and tone the skin without the need for invasive procedures or needles and can be applied to both the face and body.
It targets areas where skin has lost elasticity due to age, weight fluctuations, or rapid weight loss. Unlike some traditional skin-tightening methods, 3D Refirm offers a non-invasive approach that stimulates collagen production and provides visible results with no recovery time.
The Technology Behind the Treatment
Combining cutting-edge Trimax MD microneedling radiofrequency with powerful electromagnetic muscle stimulation to redefine skin and sculpt from within, super fine microneedles deliver radiofrequency energy deep into the skin, sparking collagen production and tightening existing fibres for visibly firmer, smoother skin.
At the same time, thePowerSculpt electromagnetic muscle stimulation element activates and tones the muscles beneath, improving definition, lifting and refining skin texture. It is the 3-in-1 technology that delivers the 3D effect, tightening, toning, and smoothing for a more sculpted, youthful appearance from every angle.

My 3D Refirm Experience and What I Thought
Inside the FaceBible Clinic
Firstly, the FaceBible clinic where I had the treatment was stunning, a beautiful space for the latest treatments in the Fairmont Hotel, Windsor, with all the 5-star benefits!
Dr Raj was super friendly and knowledgeable, and explained how this treatment differed from conventional tightening and contouring facials.

As a therapist, I specialise in facials at my North London clinic, so I was keen to see how this treatment might differ from the contouring, lymph draining, and collagen-boosting treatments on my menu.
First, my skin was cleansed, and Dr Raj then explained how the treatment works and what to expect. A special gel was applied to allow the pads that carry the electrical pulses over my skin to work, concentrating on the forehead, cheeks and lower face.
What the Treatment Feels Like
I could definitely feel a tingling sensation as if my skin was being lifted, including my brows and eyelids! It didn’t feel uncomfortable, but there was a real pulsing sensation, which I did get used to after the first five minutes or so, as I knew it was working.
I’m a real fan of microneedling – it’s been a real game-changer for helping skin to regenerate after gentle trauma – and Dr Raj explained how the microneedling element, combined with the radio frequency – gentle heating of the skin – would speed up these benefits.

Immediate Results and Aftercare
After treatment, a combination of skin-boosting serums and moisturisers was applied, which I was assured would act more efficiently while the skin was open and more receptive to nutrients.
My skin felt great after treatment, and with a little tinted SPF, I was able to face the day, and my skin did look plumper and fresher for a good week afterwards.
Treatment Expectations and Who It’s For
I definitely think this treatment could work as a course to tighten and tone. It’s important to use the right products to maintain results, and I always advise my clients to include a good level of sunscreen and regular massage that can also help with contouring and the reduction of puffiness.
